Day 20

22 March 2009, Sunday

I shall post about my tour on individual days so that it will be easier for you to read as well as for me to organise! :P Let me start from Saturday.

21/03/2009, Saturday

Gathered outside my room and meet at the front gate at 7am. By 12pm plus we reached 'Tai He Xuan Wu Da Jiu Dian' (太和玄武大酒店) for lunch.

Reach 'Wu Dang Jin Jie' (武当金街) at around 2pm and start our tour at 'Wu Dang Shan'.

Waiting to get our ticket to enter.

This is the ticket and there is a surprise inside!

A 'Wu Dang Shan' disc for souvenir!

Got on the bus and going to our first station, 'Tai Zi Po' (太子坡).

Caught MengZhen inside the picture when taking myself! :P

Here we are!

I think this is the 'Tai Zi' Hill. ^^

*Take note that all the chinese title are read from right to left unless I specify so. ^^

This cute little China boy is very happy! XD

I found a 'shy' priest! :P

'Fu Lu Shou' 福禄寿!

*Title is from right to left* 'Tai Zi Ling Ying Tan' (太子灵应坛):
From the past till now, believers went to this temple and pray for fortune, offsprings and family wellbeing.

'Tai Zi Dian' (太子殿)!

Praying the at 'Tai Zi Du Shu Dian' (太子读书殿) for good exam result.

The Red Army Slogans (红三军标语):
In 1931, troops of the Red Army under Marshal 'He Long' (the Political Department of the English Division of the Third Army) were quartered on Mt. 'Wu Dang' and the slogans were written on the screen wall here at the time, calling out peasants to join up the Agrarian Revolutionary War.

Found this insect preying on the water! :P

On the way we saw a group of Mt. 'Wu Dang' students.

Team picture!

'Zi Xiao Gong' (紫霄宫)!

Going further up!

'Chao Bai Dian' (朝拜殿)!

Here we are at 'Zi Xiao Dian'.

Taking pictures with Mr Wong!

Videos and pictures of the Mt. 'Wu Dang' students practicing their martial arts.

A group of KungFu fighters! :P

Team A fight! LOL :P

Second station, climbing up to the 'Xuan Di Dian' (玄帝殿).

Wondering what is inside?
It is a turtle statue! I think it is a symbol of longevity.

Saw this rock and it looks like turtle! LOL :P

Here we are!
Someone fell into the well? LOL :P

Tweese! :P
That's our tour for today! Took the tour bus and leaving Mt. 'Wu Dang'.
Exit from the main entrance and saw this view when we are on our way to board our bus to have dinner at the same restaurant as in the afternoon.

After our dinner, we checked into Mt. 'Wu Dang' Hotel (武当山宾馆). My room-mate is MengZhen! :P

Staying at Block 3 with the others.

This is MengZhen and my room 3217!

Our bathroom.

Our bedroom.

Compared to the FOUR STAR cruise, this THREE STAR hotel's standard is much better! LOL :P
Went for a walk with MengZhen, MeiYun, HuiMiang, CiMin, Winson, XiangYu, Clive, Benedict and Randolph to search for our supper! At first we planned to have supper at Clive's room, who is staying together with Benedict at room 3212, but something occured and changed the plan to having supper in my room. Watch the television programme (it has been ages since I have watched something on TV!!!) and enjoyed our cup noodles. However, Randolph, Benedict, XiangYu and Clive didn't turn up but the rest of us still continue with our supper! :P
MengZhen turned in while I stay up for a little longer because of my bloated stomach. -_- Slept around 1am and almost couldn't wake up on the next morning.
(To be continued...)
Stay Tune For More! ^^
