DAY 14

16 March 2009, Monday

Today have BPE lecture and practical, and lunch is at Canteen 2. I guess if everyday I'm going to talk about this, it will be such a boring post. So just remember that Monday to Friday I have lesson. If I'm lucky to have no lesson during weekday, I will mention it too. :P Anyway, I find today's quiz five to be tougher because there are more information on chapter five. Mr Wong cheat my feelings and say it will be easier but I think it's not. Maybe I'm the only one who find it tough? After the quiz is practical on Flexsim, another tough work to get me the answer for tutorial two. I feel like I've depleted all my brain juice in one day. Hopefully my dinner can replenish my energy and start the engine again. :P

Shall stop here and start sharing with you my three days and two nights cruise. XD

13/03/2009, Friday

Gather up with MDE people at 7am outside my hostel and walked to the main entrance to board the coach. Took a five hour ride to have our lunch at 'Yan Sha Da Jiu Dian' (燕沙大酒店).

Our wedding couple (MeiYun ad Winson) of the day! :P

The whole restaurant is crowded with our people!

Fish head VS chicken head. LOL :P *random*

After a sumptuous meal, we board on our coach and reach the Three Gorges bus station at around 1pm plus. Got onto the tour bus that bring us to specific location to tour the Three Gorges!
My ticket to board the tour bus... No ticket, no boarding! :P
HuiMiang and I.

Here we are at the Three Gorges Project Model Room (三峡工程模型室).

Can you see the smoke and some sparkles? Well, I've tried my best to zoom in but I don't think it's clear. Anyway, it is actually fireworks if I'm not wrong. But in the afternoon put fireworks is like a little bit too weird? I think I'm still unfamiliar with this 'culture' I guess.
Ahhh~~~

Before taking the team photo, everyone is so unglam. :P

Now we are SO CUTE right? Hahaha XD Got me, Howe, Benedict, HaJar and PeiJie. (left to right)

The rock behind me is 'Jie Liu Si Mian Ti Ji Nian Shi' (截流四面体纪念石).
Howe where are you looking at?

Credits to Benedict. :P

I touch his 'sexy back'! LOL :P

Climbed up the stairs to have a better view of the whole place on the tower-like structure.
Mr Wong 'tweese tweese'! :P

MengZhen and I.
MengZhen and CiMin.

Howe and I.

Group picture!

BIG BOOK of 'Tan Zi Ling' Ridge (坛子岭揽胜).
This is the second station but I have no time to take more pictures due to a delay of time.
On my way to last station which is...

'Jie Liu Ji Nian Yuan' (截流纪念园).

I wonder where does that stairs lead to...?

This is a rock that have lyrics scripted on it. The title of the song is 'Da Jiang Qu' (大江曲).

Now you are viewing a Re-creation of YangTze River Closure (截流再见).

Mr Wong standing under the flowing water without getting wet! Well, not really wet I guess? :P

Reusing tyres as decoration...

Before leaving the Three Gorges, I took a picture of a mountain that looked like Mr. Mao ZeDong (毛泽东先生). It is then named as 'Mao Rong Shan' (毛容山) according to the tour guide. ^^

Went back to the same restaurant to have our dinner.

After our dinner we boarded onto the cruise called 'Yin Yue Liang' (银月亮). The cruise has four storey and heard that it is a four star cruise to China! To Singapore standards I suppose it is just a two star cruise? ^^ My room-mate is MengZhen and we checked into room 311.

Two single beds, a television, a dressing table and....

A bathroom with a TOILET BOWL. So long never see toilet bowl, not to say using it. -_- The room have some bad qualities as it have no room heater or warm water for the tap. Overall, I think it's still acceptable for me. ^^

When we board on the cruise it is already 7pm, thus the outside is quite dark and chilly.

MeiYun and I.

MDE group pictures! :P

At second storey.

At the front of the cruise, outside the second storey, awaiting for our turn to enter the dam.

Two crews tying the ropes to park the cruise.
This is the gigantic pillar that hold our cruise!

At 9pm, it's our turn to enter the dam! :P Anyway, we've waited for an hour for this moment~~~

Got inside the 'water rising box' and waiting to rise up!

~~~Rising and Exiting~~~
Clive and I with weirdos!!! LOL :P
Leaving~~~
Sweet dream for me after viewing this scene.
14/03/2009, Saturday
Breakfast on the cruise at 7am.
Went to take some pictures with MengZhen, MeiYun, CiMin and HuiMiang at fourth storey's deck.
Changed ship to 'Shen Nong Xi Liu Hao' (神农溪六号).
Ticket is here!!! :P
Bye bye to my cruise~~~
Reach 'Shen Nong Xi' and boarded on a sampan-like boat which is also known as Huan Bao Chuan' (环保船).
The crews are differentiated as 'Lao Da' (老大), 'Lao Er' (老二) and 'Lao Yao' (老幺).
'Lao Da' is the big boss, 'Lao Er' is the boss and 'Lao Yao' are the crews.
These are 'Lao Yao'.
This is the 'Lao Er'.
This is the 'Lao Da'.
A crate of oranges. LOL :P
Howe dropped something into the stream?? :P
After the trip to 'Shen Nong Xi', we went back to our cruise for lunch.
Does this mountain look like a wolf to you?
Took a coach to temple at 6.30pm.
This is the 'Tuo Gu Tang' (托孤堂).
Inside a room (悬棺陈列室), there is a suspended coffin (悬棺).
'Zhang Fei' (张飞) and 'Guan Yu' (关羽).
This is a money tree (摇钱树) in the past.
Got back to our coach and return to our cruise.
Dinner time!
15/03/2009, Sunday
Last day on cruise and this is our last breakfast on cruise too! I will miss the warm soy bean drink. :P
Before boarding the coach, MengZhen and CiMin are challenging each other on Who Have the Longest Breathe. LOL :P I caught a video of them and it is super hilarious. Hahaha XD
On the way back to WuHan, we got to a shopping centre and bought a lot of snacks. Look at the seat next to me and you will know. :P
I shall go and sleep right away. Bye~~~ ^^
Stay Tune For More! ^^
